This product has held up well over the past two years. Flotation is good and there are plenty of pockets to stash your gear. None of the pockets are big enough to hold a large smartphone though the smaller 5.5 inch devices might be able to squeeze into the bottom pocket.

The only thing I wish it included was a water bladder pouch. A decent product for a decent price.

I have owned this PFD for two years at this point. Other than a couple of stains, it still looks great. All zippers and straps are working perfectly. It is fully adjustable for height and girth. They are offered in several colors to choose from, I picked the hi-vis orange due to safety reasons. Very happy and satisfied with the product, I never leave shore without it!!

I weight 200 lbs and purchased the large and this PFD fits me like a glove. It has ample storage where I need it, anchors for clips and tools and the back flotation rests perfectly on the top of my kayak seat like it was made for kayak fishing. This may not be the PFD for whitewater but if you're angler, it's hard to find a more convenient, durable and comfortable PFD.

I purchased this PFD during the hard water season so I haven't worn it on the water yet. With that being said, I have worn it around the house to get used to it. It is the first quality PFD I have purchased that I actually plan to wear. Comfortable and with plenty of storage.

A fantastic kayak fishing vest. Nice pockets. Plier holder that hasn't gotten damaged in many outings (clip has rusted, don't care, I'll figure out a replacement when needed). Soft, more expensive foam. Top quality zippers. Fits great and I don't even notice I have it on, even with high backed seat. A fine example of paying a more (but not a ridiculous amount) and getting more in return. A great value.

This is a great PFD for canoe tripping. The vest has a lot of pockets so you can carry your phone, license, permits, power bar, etc. with you all the time when you're on the water. The vest has a number of loops that you can snap items to as well. The vest also had a couple of reflective strips. Overall an excellent item.

It's a necessary evil that fisherman carry lots of gear with them on their boats, but NRS has a practical and comfortable solution with the Chinook vest. A class-3 rated PFD, this is one item that offers huge peace of mind when on the water. Tons of pockets, a mesh back to keep you cool, and loops to hang clippers and pliers, this is what kayak fisherman are looking for. Fitting is adjusted by straps, and it is appreciated that this is not sized for one size for all. Be sure to check this PFD out.
