AirFusion EVO
AirFusion EVO Description
Continuing the EVOlution of this award winning design, the AirFusion™ EVO is unlike any other inflatable kayak on the water! The first of its kind, the AirFusion™ EVO’s unique design is a fusion of aluminum frame poles, high-pressure drop-stitch air chambers, and an enclosed outer Polyurethane skin which results in a streamlined high-performance kayak. Skirtable for protection in adverse conditions, the EVO offers great stability, a V-shape hull for superior tracking and a rear access hatch for easy access to
under deck items. At 13’ long, with a narrow beam and drop-stitch technology, the AirFusion™ EVO is a quick and nimble kayak that tracks like a rigid hard-shell.
Accessories Included: Duffel Bag with Shoulder Straps, Folding Seat, repair Kit, Owner's Manual.

Bought it for my partner who had discomfort in her extreme competition cruising kayak. The inflatable chambers got rid of that discomfort (which she callled "num-butt").
Watching her paddle, the kayak tracks true, and is at least as fast as my very different kayak of the same length. I prefer my origami kayak, but this one is the closest that you can get to a serious cruising kayak.

Have used the AirFusion EVO…
Have used the AirFusion EVO kayak for about 10 trips in the Florida wilderness over the past year and truly love it. There is virtually no difference in effort to paddle compared to slim hard-shell kayaks some of my friends use; we are all engineers and have tested this diligently. With some practice it takes less than 10 minutes to get the kayak ready, barely more than my friends need to take their kayaks down from the roof-rack. I am long done packing up after the trip when my friends still fiddle around to get their boats back on the roof and tied down. I consider it a big advantage not to need a roof-rack for mine! It fits in the trunk of even a small car and I can even check it as regular luggage on a flight. The quality and customer service is fantastic. Can highly recommend the AirFusion EVO for ambitious paddlers (like myself). For beginners I recommend one of the other Advanced Elements kayaks.
Best AirFusion yet! New…
Best AirFusion yet! New rigid drop-stitch sides, slick polyurethane hull, seat that stays in place: these upgrades bring the original AirFusion (2010) and AirFusion Elite (2013) ever closer to perfection of an award-winning watercraft. The EVO almost seems to dance on the water and accelerates faster than any other kayak I have used (nearly 60, mostly hard-shells). In other words, the EVO is a lot of fun. It is also lightweight and is thus a terrific traveling kayak that maximizes high performance. Add the manufacturer's skeg and RapidUp sail, and going to places with "water features" could become addictive. Highly recommended!
