I have a cousin who owns one of these. For solo kayaking, it is a lot of fun, easy to maneuver, and stores a lot of gear and food.

Great wee tourer, the seat back rest isn't very stable ,comes loose as soon as you get in the boat , plus my enduro hull came oil canned but ill fix that in the summer,,live in Scotland so we get 1 hot day a year

but other than that it's a terrific boat , very manoeuvrable with the skeg up and straight as an arrow with skeg down

I recently purchased this kayak because I wanted something with as many options as I could get and a boat with some weight capacity...all for a reasonable price. I really like this kayak. I was able to take it on a 35 km trip and it performed well. Tracking is excellent with the skeg down and it is quite playful with the skeg up. The seat is comfortable but the way the seat back is mounted could be designed better. I had to replace a strap rivet that holds the back plate with a bolt because it pulled through. The kayak is very stable, there is plenty of room for stowing gear and the cockpit cargo net is really handy. It is not the fastest on the river but it gets you there.

Have used this kayak about a dozen times this summer. This flat water kayak is about as stable as they get. Paddled some open water to get to an island one afternoon in a strong breeze (approx 10 knots). Handled the choppy water without issue and tracked well even with a direct crosswind. Wide cockpit for a larger framed man (I’m 5’10”, 225 lbs). Adjustable seat works beautifully with padded thigh braces to find a comfortable position for strong or aggressive paddling as needed. Two generous dry storage compartments did not leak even when in choppy water. There is also a convenient net in the cockpit to hold snacks and water bottle. The cockpit retractable skeg does a good job maintaining straight track in general and surprisingly good tracking in crosswinds. My only very minor complaint is that the skeg hangs up when gravel or pebbles get pinched in the recessed skeg slot after a beach landing. (Would be a 5 out of 5 otherwise) All in all a great multi featured all round flat water cruiser at an excellent price point.

This is the perfect size kayak! It is not too heavy and very maneuverable in tight streams. For a short kayak it tracks very well.
The cockpit is large enough to accommodate large body people. The molded shell is extremely durable and will hold up to the worst conditions that you would expect to encounter. I wish I had another one to my wife to use.
