I use several of these pelican dry cases in different sizes when out paddling. I usually have my wallet and cellphone in a box lashed to the deck and then I carry various other items in different size boxes. I store a box below deck for first aid and then I have a larger box for my camera. I even store my raingear in a dry box that slides under my Native slayer seat. I love that these boxes all have straps so that I can attach them to various points on the deck to keep them from falling off the yak. Everything I put in my pelican boxes stays safe and dry.

I bought 2 of the 1050 to carry my small camera and phones. I can't imagine paddling without these cases. They are pressure balanced and bright enough to retrieve when I drop them in the water. Expensive but worth every penny.

Pelican dry cases you can never have too many and all sizes come in handy. I have several different ones and have found them to do exactly what they claim keep things protected, dry, and secure and Pelican does it well. Highly recommend the Pelican cases for electronics, first aid, keys, etc.

Pelican 1150 Case
This dry box does exactly what is supposed to do. It is as tough as they get and keeps its contents dry. Seal is durable and the latches are easy to use. The pressure release valve comes in handy. The pick and pluck foam (not sure if they still use this) made it easy to set up the padding for my phone and point and shoot camera - both fit easily. One improvement would be a molded slot for a strap, but I use a biner for easy attachment and removal.

The Pelican line of cases is the top of the line when it comes to protecting cameras, electronics and other gear that needs a waterproof container. I have 7 Pelican cases of assorted sizes that house cameras and radio transmitters which I take into the wilderness in my canoe. They are the toughest cases manufactured and have never leaked when bouncing through rapids. Pelican cases are available in a wide selection of sizes and colors to suit you needs.
