Submitted by: guest-paddler on 5/23/2022

I bought it from a friend and this thing is not easy to use. I’ve successfully paddle boarded before so it’s not completely user error. This board is narrower than other boards and it isn’t sealed against water so it absorbs some of it which means it doesn’t properly float above water. For these reasons it’s extremely difficult to stand up on it for any length of time. I have sat on it and paddled around and while that is enjoyable, it’s not exactly what I wanted.

I bought this used on Facebook market place. My kid and I love it. We didn’t know it was for kids either until now.unlike other reviews I can ride it fine. I’m short though. I’m 5’2 and 128lbs. But my oldest son is 25, he’s 5’10and took it out for the day and did great.

Well me and my 3 friends tried to ride this same model for at least an hour. We are all in our early 30s and none of us could stay atop of it. I guess we suck. And didn't know it was for kids until just now. But I'll never forget this day. Thank you.

We love this SUP! It is ideal for our children on a calm lake. We are starting our third summer with this lightweight, durable, easy to use, and kid-friendly SUP. Our small adults are unable to use this SUP due sinking but we don't care!

Easy to use

Submitted by: paddler396277 on 9/18/2017

I got this as a gift and I've only been paddle boarding once before this. I decided to try it out at the lake near my house. At first I went on my knees and it was a little shaker probably because I don't have the best balance. Then when I stood up it went underwater a little bit but I was still able to use it just fine. I'm 145 lbs by the way. I'd say this board is better for kids who are just learning or adults under 130 lbs.

On sale steal

Submitted by: paddler396622 on 9/18/2017

My daughter bought me 2 of these boards at Walmart for 74$ a piece, we took them to our local lake and spent a few hours trying to stand up and paddle I am 5'10" 185lbs and was able to get up after trying several techniques. My daughter had no problem either. It is a great workout and challenge I turned 55 the day we tried these out. I had seen these for ale for 200 bones, but resisted! They were worth it. Probably not for someone who has no athetisism or tenacity, as the bad reviews attest. Can't wait to try out at the beach as a surfboard, downside to this board package paddles don't float, both of our sunk to the bottom, which ended my most memorable birthday EVER!

I have never reviewed anything, but I have to share that I LOVE THIS BOARD!

Submitted by: paddler389445 on 9/6/2017

I cruise up and down the river with this board. I am 6' 165lbs. This is not a beginner board. You need practice and a good amount of athleticism. Once you practice and learn how to handle the board it is great. This is the best purchase I have had in 5 years. I read the comments about the board and think they are unfair. Standing on the board is not easy at the beginning it takes practice. The negative comments probably come from frustration. I loved the challenge of learning to SUP on this board.

Poor and not rated correctly

Submitted by: paddler375410 on 7/13/2017

This does not hold up for adults and the weight limit stated is not correct. Our grandson who weighs 110 does fine..anything over...well it goes underwater!!
The fins are very difficult to install.
Very disappointed with this...will use it as a float...not the paddleboard it is suppose to be!

Impossible and Disappointing with a capital D!

Submitted by: T-B on 7/10/2017

Bought this board realizing for the price not to expect longevity or performance in less than tranquil water but since we wanted to use them for a week on a quiet lake with little to no wake we thought they'd be perfect. We couldn't have been more wrong as we never even had the opportunity to leave the dock. We have rented SUPs in the past so do realize there is skill, practice and balance that come in to play but this board sinks the moment you put your knees on it. It dives, wobbles and rolls never giving you the opportunity to engage your core to balance. SHAME on the manufacturer for marketing this to adults with up to 200lb use, (we are all well below that). The limit is no where near accurate and even then I imagine a child under 80lb would still have incredible difficulty to stay atop for any length of time. It's an absolute waste of material and ruined what was suppose to be a fun lake trip.

Worst purchase ever

Submitted by: paddler312003 on 3/26/2017

If it was an option it would get zero stars , this can't even be considered a stand up paddle board because if you're over 80lbs you'll never make it off your knees . So cheaply made , incredibly unstable , barely floats . Do not buy this , and if you did don't even bother putting it in the water just turn around right now and take it back ..to late for that ? Lost your receipt like I did ? Use it to hold drinks in the pool like a floating table , use it for fire starter, use it as a spoiler for your sweet Honda civic, literally do anything with it except try and use it as a SUPB . Sportsstuff you should be ashamed of yourselves for selling such a piece of junk.

My turds float better than this POS.. definitely not meant for adults, would work well if you or your children weigh less than 90lbs. Made of very cheap foamy material. Glad I only paid $35 on sale at Walmart. Pros None Cons Everything Usage Great for starting fires on a cold day

Now that my 13 year old grandson is done being bummed and disappointed, we will be returning this POS. Totally under water. 200 pounds is the rating. Maybe half that might work. DO NOT BUY THIS BOARD unless you want to want to disappoint all involved. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! Why is there not an option to give NO STARS. Pros Not a darn thing. Another made in China POS. Suckerd again I suppose. Cons Made for a tearful day at the lake when the kids had to be left out of the fun. Thanks for nothing. Usage Can't, and won't. EVER.

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 6/29/2016
The board is NOT rated correctly for weight. It says Max weight 200 lbs. My 18 year old son who weighs 154 lbs. couldn't even get up on the board. IT SINKS! Pros Light weight Cons Maybe this board would work as a child's board. NOT CORRECTLY WEIGHT RATED! Usage TRIED to uses it for one day. 3 people and no one could get the board to float.

Very disappointed with this board. Don't recommend for anyone over 120lbs. I bought 3 for my family and my son son who is about 120lb sunk. Didn't even put mine in the water. Pros Price, lightweight Cons Not for anyone over 120lbs Usage Touring

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 5/3/2016
Great board for under $200 and it came with a paddle. It took a little time to get my balance and learn how to paddle, but I knew it would not be easy the first time since I had never stand up paddleboarded. My girl friend and I both had no problems getting the hang of it after practicing for an hour. I like the grip pad on top that makes it easy to stand on. I bought it at walmart and haven't seen a more affordable board anywhere else. Pros It's really light for carrying and was the best priced board I could find. Cons I have to put the seats down in the back seat of my car to take it to the lake. Usage Having fun with my friends and getting a workout. Also working on my suntan.

Cheapest possible SUP on the…

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 4/28/2016
Cheapest possible SUP on the market @ $190. Dimensions on this website are wrong. It is 96"x 26" x 3.75". Soft top fully foam body. Very light, maybe 15-20 lbs. I don't know what the other negative reviewers level of experience was, but this board definitely will float well with a 130 lb rider. I am 155 and it is still acceptable. Wife is 115 and it is more than buoyant enough for her. The rub is however, that this board is VERY narrow for what the company is calling a "beginner" board. Most beginner boards are 20-30% wider than this one (and sometimes thicker) which obviously effects stability. If you have experience paddle boarding, or are generally athletic/balanced, you can learn to use this board well. If you have never SUP'd on a smaller board, or don't have much natural balance, this board will probably frustrate you, and you may spend a lot of time sloshing from side to side as you learn to hold balance and paddle. With decent balance, this could be a basic, but amazingly cheap option to get out on the water Pros Super cheap, light, well buoyant for how small it is. Cons Too narrow for beginners to balance, no carry handle built in (picture shows one), camera mount would have been nice. Usage Because of of it's smaller size, it is best used in calm water with riders under 175 lbs.

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 4/3/2016
Terrible board. I'm 5'4 and 130lbs and it barely floats. I just took it out for the first time and i couldn't stand on it because it can't hold my weight. I ended up sitting down on it and even then the water was sloshing across the board the entire time. I'm going to try to return it. Completely awful product. DON'T BUY THIS! Pros Nothing. Cons It sinks. Cannot support 130 lb rider. Cheaply made styrofoam. Might as well float on a beer cooler. Usage Cruising.
