Strangely enough my wife and I bought a Sun Dolphin aruba & a Lifetime lancer as our first 'yaks.... and like the other post we discovered the lifetime paddle was better than the one that came with the Sun Dolphin.... quick trip to Big 5 (looking @ shoes) and we saw the Tidal glass on sale... bought one, went paddling... drove straight back & bought a second one for my wife... since then we've had other paddles (that came with other kayaks we bought used) such as the older Werner (no model on paddle just "werner") Aqua Bound navigator, a couple of Carlisles, and a SeaSense... we like the Tidal Glass better than all of them.... again, just like the other persons post states.... they could be a little lighter... but we use them with ALL our kayaks A Preception "sparky" (no longer have the lancer, wife liked the sparky better) Sun Dolphin "aruba", Necky "Looksha sport", Dagger "edisto", Wilderness systems "pamlico" tandem, Current designs "storm", and a Necky "tesla" (old model) these paddles fit our needs with ALL these kayaks better than any other we've found so far.... have 4 Tidal Glass paddles & am waiting for the next sale to get 2 or 4 more....
