Having bought two of these bags and being a big fan of the red paddle co brand, I was disappointed when the two deck bags I purchased both had the same problem. A problem which renders the bag useless as a deck bag and no longer waterproof...The zip. The zip on these bags fails because of the shape and its position on the bag. The zip failed on both bags and once the zip splits, there is no going back. Having owned two bags with the same problem it seems to unfortunately be a design fault of the bag. Red offered me discount on another product and threw in a new roll-top bag as a good will gesture which reflects well on their customer service but I fear that others will have the same problem with the deckbag. My advice is save your money and buy the much cheaper roll top bag instead of the deckbag. It's more simple in design and therefore more reliable.
