I had my kayak now for 5 years it is 12 ft. long and around 90 pounds its not to bad for one person to handle. It has plenty of room it is a sit on top with a very comfortable seat that you can adjust or can be put up out of the way for more room to stand up and fish from. It is rated for 350 pounds and lots of storage with a closed lid in front of kayak for dry storage and an open space in rear with tie down straps and two built in rod holders. It has two rails one on each side to mount just about anything like fish finders and more rod holders if needed. The price is very reasonable for just under 800 bucks it is a very good first kayak and very easy to fish out of. I give this kayak 5 stars you will not go wrong with this .

I bought this kayak for my wife as a gift, not realizing that the foot rests were installed so far front that she couldnt reach them so I tried to take the screws out to move the sliders back but I could not get the screws out, so I contacted the company that I bought it from and so far it has been nothing but a hassel to get replacement parts. there is no parts list and they want part numbers.

I had this kayak for three years and use it a lot on a local lake near my house and on the Juniata river it is a very stable kayak. It is a sit on top with a fold down seat plenty of room for my gear . The only down fall with it so far is my seat hold down clip broke but it was an easy fix. I am about 210 lb. and I can stand up and fish with no problem. I find that it tracks very nice and easy to control it takes a little bit to get it going but once you get going it is very easy to paddle . It is a little heavy it weighs in at 95 lb. but it is very easy to handle by your self. I give this kayak a 5 star rating and the price was right at 750 bucks not a bad value.

This was my first fishing kayak. For the price it has a lot of nice features. I am 6 foot and 300 pounds and can stand and paddle or cast. My only complaint would be that the plastic seems a bit softer than my others.

Good design but plastic is too thin and soft. One drag and you have a hole in the hull. The plastic should have been reinforced at the stern for dragging because it's a very heavy kayak (about 90lbs). I had to fill hole with ONE twenty foot drag across gravel.

While the Shadow Caster is a heavy kayak, it is not a bad thing. The seat is amazing, adjustable, and keeps you from wishing you were in a bass boat.
At 93 lbs, it is not for everyone but if you live to fish... The $750 price tag is worth it

If you are looking for an amazing kayak look no further. The price may be $750 but it works just like a $1000+ kayak. Fishing from it is a dream and you can't find a better value.
