I was a bit sceptical of the…
I was a bit sceptical of the manufacturer's claims - they sounded a bit too good to be true - but it didn't take long to make a believer out of me. I was looking for something that would get me closer to the center yoke of our tandem canoe when paddling solo, that could be moved from boat to boat, and that would provide good support. The Solostrap does all of that, and does it well. It only takes a few seconds to install and adjust, and lifts out when you are done with it. I've also used a sling seat installed near the center, but definitely prefer the Solostrap.
