The Attwood deck mount Rod Holder comes with a bi-axis deck or side mount. The deck mount was perfect for my kayak. I went to the deck mount because I can store the rods in a down position and don't get them hung up in trees overhanging the bank. The unit is heavy duty and should last a very long time. I have used with bait and spin cast gear. There is a rod saving feature on the holder. These rod holders cost less than the big name units and are high quality.
