Trip Overview
8 day trip 5-6 days kayaking: The first night of the trip is spent at Southern Sea Ventures' Nadi hotel where the group meets their guide for a trip briefing. The next day, paddlers head out to the northern Yasawa Islands on the transfer catamaran, stopping at numerous lagoon-fringed islands before arriving at our kayak base on Tavewa Island. After arriving on the island, you’ll pitch tents, enjoy an introductory paddle in the lagoon and watch the sunset while eating a delicious dinner. The next morning you begin a self-supported kayak expedition paddling a loop among the northern islands on the 8-day trip, or in the case of the 11-day itinerary, a 120km adventure kayaking the length of the island chain. The days are filled with paddling adventures, camping on isolated beaches, snorkeling the coral reefs and staying in small native villages getting to know the friendly locals. Time is spent on an uninhabited island where everyone can explore the secluded island at their own leisure. You'll farewell the islands on the last day of the trip and head back to the mainland with fantastic memories of your time in the Yasawas.
