River Dart
North of Totnes Wier Hydro
Non tidal stretch of water running from Totnes Weir Hydro up stream.
Park in car park of King Edward Community College and walk around the football pitch to get in at the top of the weir or on the pontoon for a direct launch.
Paddle up stream alongside the Dartington Hall Estate on the left banks and the Great Western Railway on the right banks (Steam Train running daily).
3km paddle upstream with a few shallow spots but easily passable. Several spots to Moor up along the way but read the signs on the banks as some are private property.
