Park & Play wave on Groveland Canal

Groveland Canal - Blackfoot, US

Description

This is a small white water wave located just a few miles out of Blackfoot it's a very known spot to locals so if you go expect a lot of inertubes I have never white water kayaked this spot but I river surf here often before the main wave it's about 3 feet deep and after the maine wave it's about 5 to 6 feet deep that being said do be careful with water levels it can get very shallow and you can get cut up on rocks when the water is low but all together supper fun spot and good place for a beginner to get there feet wet also to anyone trying to river surf this spot make sure you enter the main wave from the side where the road is and do not wear a leash unless it's a quick release
