Description
Kinnikinick Lake is a tranquil lake set in open pinon-juniper country at the south end of Anderson Mesa. The lake is stocked with trout by AGFD. Motorized boats up to 10hp are allowed. Not as heavily used as some of the other lakes in the area (Ashurst Lake, Upper Lake Mary), due to being a little out of the way. There is a primitive boat ramp at the west end of the lake. Other facilities include pit toilets and picnic tables. Camping is not allowed within 1 mile of the lake. The last 9 miles from Lake Mary Road are gravel forest roads, and the last few miles can be somewhat rough and rocky. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recare...
