You must have a Discovery Pass for parking here. Discovery passes are sold by the Washington State Parks and our $30 a year. The Chinook river goes up several miles until it dead-ends at a dyke. There are many side channels that may not be available at low tide. A lot of bird life and maybe even some elk or deer.
