Good place to put in for an 8 mile paddle down to the Moab bridge. I didn't go farther so don't know what's beyond. Some rapids right at Big Bend. You can put in above, below or in the middle of the rapids. This stretch is pretty calm along high canyon walls. Wall on river right is actually Arches NP. I stayed at a basic Natl. Forest type campground at about the 7 mile mark. There are several along the river. Campsite right on the river with huge canyon wall on the other side. I put in and took out there for some shorter paddles.
