After owning two 14 foot recreational rotomold kayaks for fifteen years, my wife and I each bought a Delta 15.5GT and couldn’t be happier with them.
After paddling a few hundred kilometres on them, we both immediately noticed the effortless speed these GTs offer with great stability, tracking and maneuverability. It exudes confidence even in rough water conditions on large lakes.
My wife likes that it is five pounds lighter than her previous kayak though 18 inches longer. She also loves the generous sized day hatch and the ease of getting into the cargo areas.
I especially like the volume this kayak can carry. The large openings make loading for multi-day trips a breeze. Also, being able to adjust the seat to fit me has made for comfortable, all day sitting.
