Gorgeous and solidly made, the 4 sections easily pack and then slip and snap together (once you learn to 'drop' it into position with the straps inserted... The flexibility is great (leaving out a section for a solo version). However, being novice/intermediate kayakers, my wife and I found it slippery to handle and very tippy. We will try with the provided skeg down, but it seemed too unstable for all but the most calm and shallow waters. Perhaps a more experienced crew would find it acceptable...
