Paddling With and Studying Humpback Whales


Learn about the slow resurgence of humpback whales in Howe Sound, BC. After nearly hunting them to extinction, a bill was passed making it illegal in the 60's & since then, there has been a slow revival of the species in BC from only seven in 2004 to over eighty in 2018. Kayaker and filmmaker Bob Turner took to his kayak to document these amazing animals and ended up spending two weeks tracking them and videoing them around the area.
