Kayaker Backyards EP.3: San Francisco
Earlier this year, before Matt, Chris and I headed up to Mendocino, we had the opportunity to spend a morning paddling in San Francisco. Local coaches Bill and Sean were kind enough to take us around to some of the local play spots. We explored caves, played in rocks, and enjoyed a coastline very different to what I'm accustomed to.
Not only are Bill and Sean fantastic kayaking coaches - they're also known for playing and teaching techniques to handle big conditions in rough spots. Bill's paddling group, the Neptune's Rangers, have tons of videos that showcase play and surf in huge conditions.
A enormous thanks to these great coaches for an awesome morning on the water.
