Coastal anchoring can be tough with anything other than the YakGear 2.2lb (1kg) Bruce Anchor. This 2.2lb (1kg) galvanized steel plow anchor is the preferred anchor choice for coastal and near-shore fishermen. The plow shaped design allows the anchor to dig easily into the sand, silt, and muddy bottoms. “Rock Rig” and “Add a Rope” capabilities are recommended, but not included.
Note* – It is recommended to use at least 3 times the depth of water as the length of your anchor rope in calm waters and 4 to 5 times the depth of the water in choppy waters or windy conditions.
