The Jackson Kayak…

The Jackson Kayak Supercharger is a tank. This is a solid SUP with tons of stability that could handle the toughest of conditions. Although on the heavier side this SUP is perfect for those who want to ride whitewater or rougher rivers or those who simply live in area with rocky tree-lined banks where your typical epoxy board can get dinged up very easily. Made from the same materials of white water kayaks in the Jackson line, these things can sure take a beating all while keeping you in the fun. Pros Stability, durability and the thing just feels super cool. Cons Definitely on the heavy side and the tracking is a little slow. Usage River riding.

I love running whitewater on my SUPercharger. It has good bow rocker to get up over waves and a lot of width for stability. The plastic wont hang up on rocks. I take the fins off for downriver play running up onto rocks spinning the board and jumping back on. It really spices up your local class two run. The basic fins are short and flexible and really help give a good carving sensation on small waves. Pros Great for downriver running. Very stable. Cons Not the most surf specific board. Deck pad could be made from a less slippery material, but gives good cushion if you fall. Usage Whitewater

Incredibly durable, very steady, easy to navigate. My first time on a board and I was hooked and obsessed. We had 4 children with us in the water and they all played on it and it was sturdy enough for all of them to jump off of into the lake.It was a rental, but was in great condition even after multiple uses.Large enough for my daughter to sit on the front, even easy to paddle with her moving around constantly.Very comfortable padding and awesome design and color. The outfitters had claimed they had other boards, but this brand was the best they have found for price and sturdy enough to withstand 1st time paddle boarders. In addition, these boards were sure to provide an experience beyond any expectations. Pros Sturdy, easy to navigate, can take a beating. Easy to balance for yoga poses. Handles for easy transport and transfers to the water. Cons Somewhat bulky and heavy. Requires room for storage Usage Excercise, touring, entire family fun.

I love this SUP I never thought of stand up paddle boarding as a whitewater sport but this SUP opened up a ton of doors. Jackson Kayak puts out the best products hands down Pros Hard shell and the inside being filled with foam makes this SUP very rigid and durable Cons I wouldn't mind a little more foam so when I fall I don't hurt my knees and it can get slick when it's wet with bare feet Usage Whitewater and river surfing

So I thought because I could surf 15 years ago how hard whitewater SUPing be. Well they are different, really different. That being said I thought that this board was stable enough maneuvering to give me enough confidence that with practice I could whitewater SUP. Pros Responsive, sturdy feeling, Cons Reminded me that I'm old. Usage Demo days at our Laval watering hole.
