This is my favorite all around boat to paddle in small rivers or lakes. Has plenty of room for a cooler, 30 liter dry bag, and soft sided cooler, for an all day adventure. Took it on the 12 mile Tour De Coal in June, and had an awesome day. Easy to paddle, and fast for the size. If I can find another in seaspray I will buy it.

Great first kayaks!! I have 2 of them and they are great boats. My girlfriend and I had one issue with tipping over. But nothing to do with the kayaks. It was due to our dog jumping overboard. Well worth the money!

It is a great kayak for the price. Nice details, comfortable seat, very easy to paddle. It is not good for the sea. Lakes and calm rivers are OK. Good for kids and beginners

We are currently in the market for kayaks for the family. While at a resort recently, we rented 2 of these to take out on the water. The resort was on a slow moving river that entered a large lake. We were able to easily paddle these on both bodies of water. There were lots of boats in this area so we had to put up with a lot of wakes put off by the boats. Never had any issues. They tracked nicely and were easy to maneuver. The padded and adjustable seat made for a nice afternoon on the water.

These were our first kayaks. We have used them on lakes and on the local rivers in our area. They are very stable and easy to paddle, they track straight while paddling, but are also reasonably responsive to maneuver in the river. A real confidence builder for the whole family. The Impulse 10.0 sits very good inside, plenty of leg and feet room. Roomy cockpit with easy to move foot rest. The dash on the front of the boat is very handy for lots of quick get to items. Plus the molded cup holder in the front of the seat is perfect size to hold drinks in a coozie. A good all around kayak for all levels of paddlers.

I've never owned one, but have rented this model a few times. It's a great overall kayak and seems to track well and respond. I think if you're a beginner this is a great option. My only complaint is that it looks small! But once you're in it it feels just the right size for small lakes and creeks. This is the kind of kayak that anyone can sit in and just go.

Great, easy to paddle boat. It's a little on the heavy side which makes it difficult for me to load and unload it by myself. The 2 storage compartments with bungees are great and come in handy for life jacket and personal item storage. The padded seat and seat back are a plus!

I have been using the Perception Impulse 10.0 sit in kayak for fishing and just paddling around, great little kayak, very light(44 lbs) and easy to portage. For fishing, the kayak is roomy for tackle inside the boat. Tracks extremely well and is very stable during casting and fighting fish. I have added 3 rod holders, 2 on the deck behind the seat and one up front. The seat is very comfortable, and surprisingly I can fish for about 5 hours without any discomfort.

Bought this kayak for my wife. Very nice and stable, tracks nice and straight, not too heavy & nice and short, easy to transport. The storage in the rear is great for coolers, and the dashboard up front is super handy!

This is my first kayak. I was using a friends kayak and decided to get my own. I have to say for a beginners kayak and priced at $300 you really can't go wrong. It tracks from what I can tell just fine. Turns easy and is stable enough so I don't freak out!

I usually kayak calm waters in bays, creeks, etc. You will get a little wet from splash in choppy or rough water, but for me that's part of the whole experience. But if not for you I'm sure a spray skirt will fix the problem. I plan on going camping with this kayak and I think the sternwell will come in handy for the little gear I will need. It also has two holes in the stern well for self-bailing. I was told you could buy plugs for them if you want. There is a cup holder between your legs which I doubt I'll use since I use camelbaks but you can still set something there I suppose. It also has a handy console in front of you to easily store stuff and get to.

This review is coming from a complete novice just to remind you but if you are interested in kayaking and would like to buy one without investing a few paychecks buy this one! I'm happy with it :)
