Party Braaap Description

The Braaap has been a huge success. Paddlers love the speed, agility, and river running performance that the rocker profile and slalom hull design has exposed. The one thing that some paddlers have asked for in the Braaap is a more playful stern that engages the water dynamically. Automatic for the People! Liquidlogic now has the Party Braaap. The Party Braaap has the exact same hull and bow design as the Braaap. The difference is that they sucked 2.5 gallons of volume out of the stern deck making it concave. That significant drop in volume makes the PB a stern squirting, wall splatting, surfing machine while still being a pinpoint accurate river runner. Now you have a choice! A more full volumed performance river runner in the Braaap or a more playful river runner in the Party Braaap.

I started out taking classes…

Submitted by: mdecker988 on 7/19/2019

I started out taking classes and picking up an old RPM a few years ago and at 5'8, 190 lbs. I loved it... but I wanted some more bow volume and more rocker. It's fun to ride over stuff and not just submarine through it. I demo'd a friend's Braaap in a pool and loved it! It's extremely maneuverable as you'd probably imagine, takes off like a rocket, and rolls about as easily as an RPM. The almost-zero initial stability isn't something I'd put a beginner in unless they were absolutely driven. I could sit in the outfitting all day - and have on a few occasions.

Party Time!!

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 8/17/2017

This boat is absolutely sick!! I am at the upper end of the weight range of this boat at 205-210 lbs. I finally took the Party Braaap on the Upper Yough and it was the best time I've had on the river. This boat is fast, glides through the water, and BOOFS like no other. I am able to stern squirt the boat with ease. It is not the most forgiving boat, but it will make you a better paddler in the long run. Even though it lacks forgiveness (at my weight) it makes up for it by how easy it is is to roll. If you are at the upper end of the weight range for this boat,, don't hesitate to pull the trigger...get it and go PARTY on the river!!!

Better than expected

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 6/29/2017

The first thing I noticed was how fast this boat is. Quick to speed and can hold speed into a move. It squirts better than I expected and boofs are snappy and fun. I've only had this boat out a handful of times now, but the potential is so high. It was super easy to just jump into and start playing with all it's features. stoked!

Versatile and Friendly

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 8/24/2016

Plays great in both big volume water and low water creeks. Although it's no RPM when it comes to getting vertical, give it a good seam and it squirts/splats real easy. Overall great, comfortable, and versatile boat.

Go to Boat of Choice!

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 8/17/2016

I loved my normal Braaap for over a year, did everything in it. It would squirt on powerful eddylines but I was always hoping for something a little more playful! The #partybraaap is it folks. My go to boat for creeking, splatting, playing, surfing and styling the river. At 230 it floats me well, sails off boofs and squirts as easy as my playboat.

Best Boat Ever

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 8/15/2016

I have spent five days in the Party Braaap and I have to say they have been the most fun I've had on the water in a long time--maybe ever. This is the most responsive boat I've ever paddled. You can just think about where you want to go and you are there. I also feel like I sit in the sweet spot like in no other boat. It's fast, it plays and it will take my boating to another level. It gives you an unbelievable feeling going through big waves. It changes directions on a dime. Most of all--it's a blast to paddle.

This boat is incredible. I

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 8/5/2016

This boat is incredible. I bought it for a trip down the Grand Canyon and am certain that it will be the perfect boat. It feels incredibly stable when running big water, yet there is lots of play waiting to be had. I can't wait to be able to fully utilize this boat on the water. I love this boat!!!!!
