The Outlaw is a GREAT fishing Kayak..Soooo stable! No not a speed demon but not made to be. I like it so much I bought a second one for my wife and friends to use. Hope to get out a lot more in 2022!

This is a great kayak. I bought it specifically so I could bring my dogs on the water. It’s roomy and stable and balanced well enough that I can load it myself without much trouble. My only complaint is the super high seating position. Now, this is an advantage when it comes to getting on/off of the kayak. Also, I took it out in April and stayed dry(and warm). But if paddling into the wind you are like a sail and will have to work extra hard compared to someone sitting lower. I also had to buy a paddle that was longer to comfortably paddle from a high position. I also have the perception striker and love the fact that I can easily move from the upper to lower seating position and vice versa. So maybe that has me spoiled. The outlaw is a comfortable, well made boat. I love the sacrificial skid plates on the back so I can drag it to the launch if needed. At 70ish lbs it’s heavy but sturdy. There’s plenty of storage space and room for a lot of customization. That being said, there are no dry hatches but plenty of room for crates, tackle boxes and coolers. All in all I like this kayak. I have had some good paddles in it already and my dog enjoyed being able to walk the deck.
