I was very surprised at how easy it was to get this tent set up. I had used other tents in the past but I decided to stray from my budget a little with this tent and I am glad that I did. The tents that I have used in the past had entirely too many pieces and instructions. This tent was very lightweight and very easily setup. I liked the fact that it had convenient pouches inside to keep your personal items for safe keeping. I was also very impressed at the breathabilty of this tent. It seemed to be a lot cooler than the tent we used last year. I was uncertain about spending this much money on a tent because I had never realized how much better it could be, but I am very happy to say that this tent was definitely constructed alot better than any other I have used. I would be very pleased to recommend the Northface Roadrunner 3 person tent to anyone and I would also feel safe in assuming that other Northface products are of better quality than the cheaper versions that may be offered so take the chance and spend a little extra for the Northface products because it was a difference of night and day when compared to the tents I have purchased in the past from places like Walmart or Target.

I've had this tent for about a year, which is when I started camping, and it's a wonderful, well designed, quality product. Used for kayak, canoe and car camping for 2 people, sometimes 1 in all seasons (although winter conditions were not difficult, and it's not rated as a 4 season tent). Very storm proof. The 2 vestibules are great. It has a 'brow' pole for good interior height. This pole took some getting used to in the set up but has proven to be very worthwhile. I wanted a comfortable tent for 2 people in all conditions and this tent is very good. I could rate it higher but being new to camping I'm giving it a rock solid 8.
