I bought a brand new and only took out to the lake once. It was very tipsy water leaked into the kayak through the skeg wheel. Ended up swamp the kayak (didn't loose anything since I secured everything) near the shallow dock area. My goal was kayak fishing with it but, I'm just too disappointed.
Kayak weight was a ton and literally poured more than a gallon of Lake water of Kayak. Do I really need that skeg with the wheel? It caused me nothing but a bad experience...

I purchased a Lifetime Weber 132 last year and have used it for paddling several rivers and for both river and lake fishing both inland and on Lakes Huron and Michigan. It has performed admirably and met my needs in every way. The adjustable rod holder is very functional. The spot to put a milk crate behind the seat is a huge plus and carries a small soft side cooler for beverages, lunch and other items. A small rectangular plastic container can be fit into the deck hatch and clipped in with a carabiner to the shock chord inside to provide quickly accessible dry storage for small items and fishing tackle. I added a paddle clip, cleat, small anchor, line guides and 30' of anchor line. The seat sits higher up than most sit on kayaks, keeping your seat cushion and bottom dry. Scuppers work very well at draining away any water. The mesh storage area at the stern is useful for empties and trash. No cup holder but a hard sided koozie with velcro on the bottom fits right on the hatch lid between your legs. The skeg and skeg wheel are a nice feature but care must still be taken to prevent damage when dragging it across hard surfaces. The kayak tracks very well and is extremely stable. I highly recommend this kayak!

I got this kayak for fathers day 2016. I only had it out once but is better than my 10' sis. It is much easier to get in + out of also very stable. I wasn't in any hurry but I don't think it was any slower than my sis. THE only issue I had with it was the seat. It was very comfortable when it was adjusted properly but the straps that held the back rest slipped a couple of times + it was uncomfortable. I talked to lifetime's customer service . they were helpful. They're going to send me a couple of new buckles which the person I talked to said they would probably solve the problem. I,m 75 years young + this is a good selection for an elderly person. It is well made + should last a long time Lanny Haff W Palm beach FL
