Okay, now we're getting into expensive items that aren't strictly necessary. But honestly the Helinox Table One adds so much comfort to a campsite that I take it everywhere. You can eat on it, put your feet up on in with a Helinox chair like the taller Sunset Chair, use it to hold things next to your chair, and use it as a night table in your tent.
I use one of the recessed holders for a water bottle and the other one for small items (glasses etc.).
Light, small, sturdy, assembles in a jiffy. I wouldn't put a stove on it.
