Great tent for the money.…

Great tent for the money. Since this tent has been discontinued by Eureka you can get them for roughly half the original MSRP. There are several sites that still have them and are going for between $80-$90. I'm 6'2" and when lying still have room at my feet and head and can also sit up inside with room to spare. I solo camp so this tent will accommodate my large sleeping pad, my big and tall sleeping bag and all my gear no problem. It is listed as a 2 person tent and you could get 2 "average" size adults in there but no gear other than your sleeping gear. However if you plan to sleep 2 keep in mind this tent has only one door and one gear vestibule. Also, you can get a fitted footprint for this tent. Eureka never made a fitted footprint for the Sunriver 2 but the Kelty Salida 2 tent has the exact same 88"x55"/45" trapezoidal footprint as the Eureka Sunriver 2 tent and Kelty made a footprint for the Salida 2. I bought the Salida 2 footprint for my Sunriver 2 tent and it is a perfect fit. The grommets line up perfectly. There's plenty of room in the Sunriver's 2 stuff sack to roll the footprint up with the tent as well and keep it all together. Good camping everyone.

This is an excellent tent for…

This is an excellent tent for the money. It packs small and handles rain without issue. It is rated as a two person tent but I have only used it for myself. Two people would be snug so make sure its with someone you like, haha. Set up and take down is fast and easy too. The vestibule is nice to store muddy shoes outside. I love this tent and plan to use it on all my future kayaking and backpacking trips.
