Bought a Sea Ghost 130 with a paddle. Had such a rough time avoiding the "thump" when fishing. I am 6'2" and the Sea Ghost is about 34" wide. So I bought the Angler Classic in 270 cm. I am happy to say the "thump" is gone. Also, I have complete control of the kayak using this paddle. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to fish out of a kayak

Lightweight paddle for the…

Lightweight paddle for the price! Will probably upgrade to the angler ace or navigator eventually but this paddle is a great way to start and is solid. The measuring tape is very handy as when I catch a fish I leave the paddle across my lap, then when the fish comes in I can measure without grabbing anything else. The cutout in the blade will also prove useful in the future for retrieving lost lures. The sage green goes great with my Native Manta Ray.

I haven't had it on the water yet, but I have compared it to a couple friends paddles. It feels really sturdy compared to theirs. Excellent craftsmanship, it goes together tight, but not to tight. Can't wait to get it wet.
