Steve Killing-designed touring/sea kayak professionally built by Bear Mountain Boat Shop of Canada and finished/detailed by graduate of the Great Lakes Boat Building School. 16'-9" long, 24" beam, 46#s; two large water-proof hatches with tons of storage; large cockpit with padded seat, CLC adjustable foot braces & foam bracing under the coaming; custom deck fittings and lines; mahogany rub rail and bow/stern detailing; the boat is very stable, tracks well, seaworthy and fast; 8 coats of Interlux varnish on deck, 3 coats of Kirby marine enamel on hull & WEST System graphite bottom for durability & speed. Complete with cockpit cover, spray skirt and Bending Branches paddle. Also included is a set of Yakime 'Hully Rollers' and saddle. Kit alone was $1,350 with another 100 hours or so to build & finish + the paddle, etc. The boat is in nearly new condition having only been used 4-5 times on Lake Huron. A great deal on a fine boat and gear.
