Nagawicka Lake at Naga-Waukee Park, Delafield, Wisconsin

Trip Overview

It was busy on Fourth of July weekend. There are many spots that are shallow enough for getting out of the kayak for a swim. There were a lot of ducks and ducklings on the lake. A small sea plane was active. I think people were paying for rides. The lake is fun. It was crowded at the boat launch. Although there was a very long line for boats, we were able to take our kayaks to the front. There are two parking lots, one of which is next to the lake, and the other is up the hill on a nature trail. The fee was $5.00 for park entrance and $7.00 per kayak.

Safety Notes

A lot of water sports and boats.

Conditions

The day was clear and sunny.
