Great day - AFTER the mega-storm rolled through Texas - and toppled a crane in downtown Dallas. The late afternoon was sunny - and the water was nice. Not too much wind. My partner for the day was her first time on ANY body of water - so she overcame some mental obstacles, and learned a LOVE for the water. Jet skis zipped around, and boats approached the ramp - so a situational awareness is key.
