Trip Overview
My family and I planned a trip to kayak down the Baker River in Rumney, New Hampshire. This was our first trip down the Baker River. We had so much fun the river was so beautiful and crystal clear. The River had so many exciting corner's, not to mention lots of great spots to stop and have a picnic or swim if it's a nice day.
What makes this a great day trip or over night trip is we stayed at Mountain Pine's Campground and rented kayak's and got dropped off 8 miles up river and kayaked right to our campsite. It took us 3 hours to kayak to our campsite. It was perfect not to long - just right.
My children really love the Baker River. I would rate this as a must stay at Mountain Pine's Campground and kayak the Baker River.
