Description
Yarragil is within the Lane Poole Reserve, so it requires a National Parks Pass or entry fee into the reserve. GPS: -32.8058, 116.123 From Yarragil to Baden Powel is a common half day paddling trip on the Murray. There are wooden steps leading down to the water. Yarragil campsite is the most secluded of the reserve campsites and must be pre-booked online. Water levels vary, so check the water level at Baden Power Water Spout at this link: https://kumina.water.wa.gov.au/waterinformation/wir/reports/publish/614006/614006.htm 10.0 means no flow. 10.0-10.3 is too much portage 10.3-11.0 is the summer level - paddleble, but plenty of portage 11.0-11.5 is excellent canoeing, suitable for novices 11.5-12.5 is very wide & fast flowing for experienced river runners only >12.5 full flood and dangerousLocation & Directions
