- MFN TOWARDS ILKESTON
Description
Best approached from the A610 side, now that it’s gated from the Shipley end. Small free car park. No toilets. Easy launch, across the bridge and onto the tow path. It’s a pretty 1.5 miles to Stensons Lock in Cotmanhay. The canal was mainly rubbish free with easily seen hazards. I haven’t checked but I assume you need your BC licence, no one asked us though.Location & Directions
