This is a pumped storage reservoir that is filled using excess power from the hydroelectric power station situated on the Blenheim-Gilboa Lower Reservoir in Mine Kill Sate Park. This is a small reservoir on a mountaintop, with spectacular views of surrounding peaks. Subject to mountaintop wind, the water can suddenly become choppy. Easy to access via short unpaved road from Kingsley Rd. Parking for 5-6 cars.
