Arcadia Point Public Boat Ramp

Puget Sound - Shelton, US

Description

Provided and maintained by the Squaxin Island Tribe, this ramp sees a fair amount of commercial use year-round—largely oyster farmers—so load and unload quickly so as not to interfere with their work.

At low tide there is a large rocky beach; at high tide the beach virtually disappears.

This ramp gives easy access to Hope Island (just across the channel to the southeast and the mouth of Hammersley Inlet ("The Shelton Shuttle") around the corner to the north.

In March 2025 there were two porta potties in the parking lot (free) at the top of the ramp.
