A popular spot for beginners to learn how to SUP. Calm sheltered water at the back of an already sheltered harbour. A slipway exists next to about 5 free parking spots but the towns large main harbour car park is just on the North edge of the harbour. Easy paddleboard access from here out to the main harbour and then out to sea. Can get busy with holidaymakers in Summer. There is another slipway in the South corner of the harbour.
No water at low tide and not really usable for at least two hours either side.
