I purchased my canoe back in the summer of 2017 just after my son was born. I finally got a chance to use it last week (since life has been way too crazy). All I can say is this canoe has to be the best I have ever owned. I use to own a 17' fiberglass canoe and had this canoe for over 20 years. It was very heavy and portaging this canoe was hard. I was amazed on how light the Holly Cow canoe (Kevlar) is and I am extremely glad I purchased.
