Pricey, but so are any of the top end euro blades and with a few exceptions you get exactly what you pay for.
The paddle is a work of art. So thin and light but impeccably strong. It slices the water and paddles without effort but provides fantastic support and power when needed.
First outing was on a spring ebbing tide with 28kmph wind coming from the opposite direction. Water was decidedly bouncy but after a few minutes of getting to grips with the new paddle it felt secure and natural. I have used greenland paddles before but all have been chunky homemade jobs which whilst totally functional have never offered the same feeling of total security.
