I honestly wasn’t super impressed with the paddle saddle- it seemed fairly sturdy but just aggressively overpriced for what it is- and really could have put together something simpler and much more effective too, had I not purchased this.

It’s not a bad product, but an attempt to drain your wallet faster than your kayak ...

this kayak did not meet my expectation at all for an Old Town product - overall features and build are below what we should see of a $1k kayak - I also own a Perception Pescador Pilot which (for less than $200 more) has pedal drive and a whole host of features which make it far better quality (and Yes, that includes build) and a much more 'usable' kayak. The only reason I give 3 stars is weight- reasonable- I didn't find tracking particularly good either.

These drip rings work but they are somewhat difficult to put on ! If you have a 2 piece paddle they will be easier but getting drip rings onto a 1piece- forget it.

There really isn’t much you can say here except that this flag is good quality, very durable and has been my safety flag every time I transport my kayak- which is the Perception Pilot and 13’ means it’s hanging out the bed of my pickup everywhere I go! Safety orange with a bungee w/ cinch to keep it in place - great flag and common sense says get yourself one ASAP !
