The DURA-TEC 11'4" by BIC is a solid board. I have surfed and kayaked for around 12 years and have also done some SUP surfing and paddling. I have rented this board in both situations and have been pretty pleased with it.
Pros
The board is sturdy and pretty solid. It isn't wobbly so you can easily balance on it. Because of this it is easy to climb back onto and easy to catch even the smallest wave with. It can take some wear and tear.
Cons
It is a bit of a big board. Because of this, it is harder for smaller individuals to carry around or maneuver. If you have some size and are used to paddling then its fine.
