I bought my Remix XP10 after many years of sea kayaking. I was looking for a crossover boat that I could use on white water, Great Lakes surfing as well as flat water. The XP10 has met all my expectations. I'm especially pleased at how well it does on Lake Michigan surfing waves. I've had it out in 6 ft and bigger waves and it performs like a champ. The skeg makes it somewhat easier for me to paddle back out through the breakers. The XP10 is also a fairly stable whitewater river boat, although it doesn't carve turns like a narrower creek boat.
