Update of review... Have been In bay area pan handle of FL with strong nw wind with waves near 2 feet. Kept pointed at about 45angle to waves and drove through with good tracking. Only issue with tracking is with quartering waves from aft. We really enjoy our 12 foot Escapes.
Bought two for wife and I. New to kayaking. Got to use them past two Sat. mornings on local lakes. We are well pleased with them. Hope to do some over nite trips and the Hiwasse river by later summer. Bought from Amazon. Best price and great service.
