New to this kayak and on a relatively quiet, narrow river it's great! Paddled yesterday on the wide Fox River in Green Bay in some considerable chop! Not my favorite experience. Had skeg at 50% which helped a bit but it was a slog for several miles. She rode the waves okay but tough and tiring to control. I like it but will use my touring Wilderness for lakes and wide rivers in the future!

I LOVE this kayak! I paddle in Wisconsin on Lakes, Bays, and anything else wet I can find! It's safe (I've been in some fairly rough bay of Green Bay conditions), tracks well ( I have a rudder), and is an absolute joy to paddle. Can't say enough good about this kayak although I wish it had an optional deck for drinks and phone. Great ride!
