Unsupported Grand Canyon Descent by Tandem Canoes

It took 26 days for 8 Canadians to paddle the Grand Canyon. They completed this feat unsupported by packing all 26 days worth of food and supplies into their 17ft tripping canoes and tackling some of the biggest rapids in the world with loaded boats. 

Out of the 26 days and numerous massive rapids there were only 11 capsizes!

This is the first known self supported tandem canoe descent of the Grand Canyon on the Colorado River
