SUP Beach Landing
When getting off your board, the first thing you'll want to do is take your paddle, reach down to the neck of the board and brace yourself on all fours. Then get down to your knees, and either stay there or go right to your bottom.
You can then slide off the side of the board as if you were sliding into a pool.
If you're unfamiliar with the [ocean] bottom, I highly recommend this technique so that you don't cut your feet, land on a rock, or twist your ankle in any way.
