Picking Up Your SUP
Now that you've attached the leash to the tail of the board, it's time to pick it up.
The best way is to bend your knees as much as possible, reach across with your one arm, pull that far rail towards you and lift the whole board at one time, using your legs as much as possible and not your back to avoid injury. Lift it up to your shoulder, and use your arms and your head to help balance it against your shoulder.
