Mainly because of the…

Mainly because of the poor/misleading customer service and because of the quality of the material, craftsmanship, and accessories. The only positive review I can give the raft is that the actual bow of the raft is still holding and hasn't popped yet. But, the keyword is "yet". I haven't taken it on any rocky rivers or put it through its paces yet to test its durability in extreme conditions... because honestly I am to afraid to for the fear of popping the boat I just spent money on. I would recommend this boat for a situations where you wouldn't encounter any kind of foul conditions. If you need a raft for leisure activities on a small pond, large (non-rocky/non-white water) river, or even perhaps alpine lake wilderness areas then this would be a suitable option. But, for AquaXtreme to advertise this as a raft that can handle white-water or other "Xtreme" activities... well this is admittedly false advertising. I would recommend saving your money and upgrading to an Alpacka Classic raft for a few hundred more dollars. Don't cut corners on a raft that could either save or end your life.

I kayak frequently on rivers ranging from slow calm waters to class III whitewater. I wanted something portable I could easily travel with and that I could throw in a backpack and explore new places. I had modest expectations given the price, but I am very happy with my purchase. It's super light and comfortable. Tracking isn't the best, but it is very responsive and maneuverable on the water. It very stable and handled a 5 mile run of class II-III rapids like a champ. I worry about the durability of the material over time, but that's the trade off you make when you buy a 3 pound boat. I'm already planning trips to places I'd never be able to take my 30 pound inflatable kayak.

We purchased an Aqua Xtreme Packraft because they were the lowest price we could find. Well you get what you pay for I guess. When it finally arrived (very slow delivery) and the seat and backrest which are 1 part failed and lost air immediately. The first time on the water and the boat deflated. I've since purchased a packraft from another manufacturer and the quality is so much better than the Aqua Xtreme. The Aqua Xtreme seams as so poor and the quality if the materials is just cheap in comparison.

By the way when we contacted the manufacturer we received really poor support. We've also since talked to another person who had a similar problem with the Aqua Xtreme X1 packraft.

Avoid these and spend a little more and get one that is well made. There is no way I would put my children in these boats.
